This is another small kitchen backsplash mural from the Shop page that just went home. The only addition form the stock image was that they wanted me to add a particular name to the vinegar bottle.
Wine & Cheese
This little backsplash mural just went home. It’s one of the images on my Shop page, so you could order one just like it. It’s a bit different style for me than what I usually do, but I’ll do any style anybody wants.
Small forest scene
This little piece will be going into the back wall of a very small shower. It’s only 29” wide. It’s not painted all the way out to the edges of the tile because it will be trimmed to fit in a niche of field tile.
Sunset on Lake Superior
A nice piece that just went out the door this week. This is from a picture of Lake Superior that the client sent me. This will go into the back wall of their shower. It’s china paint on commercial tile. You’re not going to get this kind of variety or subtlety of color with any other ceramic medium.
Pine Tree
This is a piece I did in 2013. I went and photographed it when it was installed, but they just sent me this picture again to tell me how much they like it. A nice New Year’s present. I love it when people like living with my work.
Mt. Rainier backsplash
This picture just came in. It’s a small backsplash I did back in 2019, showing Mt. Rainier. It’s an unusual one for me, as this is cone 4 oxidation glazes, not china paint. I used to do a lot of this, but hardly any these days.
Heron & Friends
This is a new rendition of a catalogue image I’ve done several times before. On the Shop page of this web site, it’s much smaller, but I can make any image fit any space for you. This one is 4’ x 4’, and has a few dragonflies added to it. It’s china paint on a plain white gloss ceramic tile.
Annual Holiday Open Studio Sale
The sale will be a little different this year (isn't everything?). Just my tiles and paintings and Rupa Palasamudram's pots. We'll have all the doors and windows open, masks required, one party of any size at a time.
Misty Forest tiles
Another small kitchen backsplash that just got shipped out. This one is actually based on one of my acrylic paintings, and is done with china paints on commercial subway tile. The staggered tiles make it a little bit harder to paint on, but not much.
Isaiah 55:12
This tile panel just went home today. It’s 3’ x 4’, on 12” x 12” porcelain tiles. It’s going to be installed, framed, on an exterior wall of a new house. The clients had originally wanted a kitchen backsplash, but plans changed.
