Flower Vase
Here’s a small mural in a style I don’t often work in. A lot of glare from the skylight in the photo, but you get the idea. As with almost all of my work these days, it’s china paint on commercial tile, and an example of my policy that I can work in any style.
Ferry and Orca Tub Front
This is a slightly bigger rendition of one of the catalogue images. It will go on the front of a tub enclosure. There will be more tile to the left of this image, but that will be behind the toilet.

Salmon on the Rocks
This is another small mural from my Shop page. It’s going to go into a kitchen backsplash.
Tiny Mt. Rainier
Not all the jobs I do are big and impressive. Here’s one that’s about as small as it gets. But nice.
Dogs at the Beach
This shower features the clients’ three dogs on the beach at their cabin on Priest Lake, Idaho. Not all the dogs were alive at the same time, but they are here! This was all done with china paint on commercial tile, from photos they provided.
Flowering Cherry Tree
Here’s a new one. It’s a flowering cherry tree in a Japanese sume brush style. It’s done on 12” x 24” porcelain tiles for one wall of a shower. The yardstick indicates where the tile setter will trim the tiles to fit the space. I never trim the tiles ahead of time because whenever I have done that, they have never fit right.
Heron Spa
I’ve done this Heron & Friends design many times, usually for either a kitchen backsplash or the back wall of a shower enclosure. Here it’s little bigger than I normally make it and installed in a spa or sauna.
Rooster tiles
These three tiles are based on tiles the clients saw in Portugal.
Forster Mansion
Here's a 4' x 2' tile piece I sent off last week. It went to San Juan Capistrano, California. It will go next to the entrance to a new memory care facility. SJC has an ordinance that specifies that any new commercial building has to have some reference to the history fo the town.
